Proline’s John Wheelock was the first to show the potential of the 4-stroke at Haydays in 2004 with a blistering run in 500 feet of 4.25 seconds, reaching a speed of 127 MPH to take the Open Mod 1000 title. In 2005, Wheelock wheelied his RX-1 to Heavy Mod 1000 and Open Mod 1000 victories on the way to posting the Low ET of the Day.
